Aynur Burak Engin disabled children

are also called “special needs”

children…it’s interchangeable

disabled=special in this context….but

this actually is controversial too

because many in the disabled

community feel it’s patronising and

insulting

AngelSense – Protecting Children:

Kirstin Stich we as parents/

guardians will choose whichever

wording we like, until our own

children say differently.

Our community should be coming

together, not torn apart from adults

on the Autism Spectrum trying to

impose their beliefs on to us,

parents/guardians. We are all

individuals and we will all have

different opinions.
