Sally Averkamp is a gardener from Genoa, Wisconsin. She works on public gardens as a volunteer and on paid jobs. She is an editor for a book on Mosgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI). Averkamp uses biomedical treatments on her two children. She also leads a holistic healing book study at her church.
She is not an autism expert. This seems to be a theme with Autism One.
She also is an editor and publications specialist for Svetlana Masgutova. Mastugova is the author of the book MNRI: The Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration to Promote Learning and Neurodevelopment. It is supposed to work by maturing automatic reflexes. It operates on the belief that many developmental delays are due to an improperly developed sensory-motor system. It claims to “reorganize” the neurology for various “learning and behavior challenges.” This is done by triggering different natural reflexes while conditioning the client to imitate what they think they should do. This is used for stimming suppression. MNRI claims to work for all types of disabilities and injuries. “MNRI is for everyone.” Below is a video explaining it.
Holistic Healing Book Study
At her church, Averkamp has led a holistic healing book study. Here is the blurb she used to describe her session:
“Have you or a loved one ever been given a seemingly incurable diagnosis like autism, ADHD, MS, interstitial cystitis, cancer, Alzheimer’s, colitis, IBS, or enlarged heart only find years later that people were indeed recovering from it? That has happened to me on a number of occasions as I, first, tried to heal my children and then later, when I tried to heal myself. Unfortunately, I found that these healing methods were not easy to find and, most often, I learned of them as the result of talking to the right person at the right time. In this Book Study, we will discuss one important book each month starting with The Prime: Prepare and Repair Your Body for Spontaneous Weight Loss by Kulreet Chaudhary, MD. on Monday, Oct. 23 at 7 pm in the Library at Lake Edge Lutheran Church, 4032 Monona Dr, Madison. (Read the reader reviews on Amazon.)”
The Healing Code
Averkamp has a son who is autistic and a daughter who has ADHD with a seizure disorder. She has been applying biomedical treatment to her children for the past 15 years. She uses the techniques in the book “The Healing Code” by Alex Loyd and Ben Johnson. The basis of this book is that illness is caused by stress. To people who participate in Autism One, autism is an illness. The author of this book does not even claim to cure autism at all.
According to this book, there are two kinds of stress. Internal and external. The external stress is treated but the internal stress is not. “Cause of our problems is internal stress.” According to Alex Lloyd, internal stress causes MS, diabetes, anxiety, depression, and cancer. It keeps people from succeeding at work and hurts relationships. Memories cause internal stress. This internal stress they believe causes all illnesses.
“The Healing Codes activate four healing centers in the body that function like a hidden fuse box; when the correct switches are flipped back on, the neuroimmune system is able to take over its job of healing whatever is wrong in the body. Using a combination of therapeutic techniques along with exercises using the hands and “energy centers” in your body, you can reprogram unhealed cellular memories and free your body to heal itself.”
